To utilize the Carlson Sign FTP (File Transfer Protocol) site you will need FTP client software, which allows you to transfer files between your local computer and our server on the internet. If you have an FTP client, please use the Carlson Sign Specific FTP Settings to set up your FTP client to access the Carlson Sign FTP site.
Your FTP client software will have other profile or configuration values that will need to be set. These settings vary depending on the FTP client in use, and some FTP clients may use different terminology. If you are unsure of these settings, then please contact your network administrator. Carlson Sign is not able to provide FTP client help or support.
Once you have connected to the Carlson Sign FTP site, please upload/download your file(s) to the appropriate folder. Whenever possible, please ZIP files before uploading. After you have uploaded/downloaded your file(s), please e-mail your Carlson Sign account executive, so he/she may remove the file(s) from the FTP server.
Do not select the Use Passive FTP check box unless your firewall configuration requires use of passive FTP. Passive FTP enables your local software to set up the FTP connection rather than requesting the remote server to set it up. If you are not sure whether to use passive FTP, check with your system administrator, or try both checking and unchecking Use Passive FTP.
If you do not have an FTP client, you may download one for a fee or even free at one of the links below.
